City for Peace is different to other projects in the city because:

• We are a badge, a banner and a symbol;
• We are completely city wide and inclusive in our approach – any person or organisation prepared to sign up to our charter can join us;
• We are non partisan and non political;
• We concentrate on practical actions which change our city for the better;
• We are an umbrella organisation under which existing and new projects can come together – projects may either belong to a member or be shared between members 
• We involve organsations from all sectors - public, private, voluntary and community.
